Poderosa Plugins †

The plugin architecture, introduced in the version 4, enables various features and the users can install necessary features selectively. Several features in the old version are provided as following plugins.

Common Plugins †

Serial port connection

Connectivity of COM ports.

XModem/ZModem

Communication of XModem/ZModem protocols.

SSH Portforwarding

This is available as stand-alone application.

Macros

Execution of macros of the previous version Poderosa. Note that following changes of specifications

• Macros cannot access the window splittion feature.
• The namespace of RenderProfile class changed to Poderosa.View.

How to install plugins †

The directory of each plugin must be located in the directory of Poderosa.exe. Please see following example.

The plugins are loaded after you restart Poderosa.

How to develop plugins †

If you have basic knowledge of the development of .NET application, the development of Poderosa plugins is not difficult. The manual for plugin developers is included the installation package of Poderosa. Fare-paying technical support will be available soon.

How to distribute plugins †

You can distribute or sell plugins free unless you violate the copyright of Poderosa since Poderosa is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. If you notify releases of your plugins to us in the mailing-list, the distribution of the plugins is possible in this page.
